SportsShoes.com, a leading online retailer for running shoes, clothing, and outdoor gear, is set to open its flagship experiential store in London’s Shoreditch High Street. The 5,000-square-foot space, named House of SportsShoes, is set to open in early March and promises to revolutionize the physical retail experience by blending digital innovation with a hands-on shopping environment.

The concept behind House of SportsShoes is a digital-first running destination that integrates SportsShoes.com’s online ecosystem into a physical space. At the heart of the store is a “no bags, no hassle” model where customers can try products in-store, make purchases, and have their orders fulfilled directly from the retailer’s 17,000-product warehouse for next-day delivery. This frictionless shopping experience aims to make the process smoother and faster for customers, blending the best aspects of online convenience with the tactile experience of a brick-and-mortar store.

One of the store’s standout features will be the ability for customers to try on over 100 running shoe models from renowned brands like Nike, ASICS, New Balance, Adidas, HOKA, Saucony, and On. Using RFID technology, each product will come to life on screen, showcasing its innovation, performance features, and the advanced technology behind the shoes. This cutting-edge approach ensures that shoppers can fully appreciate the technology and craftsmanship in every pair of running shoes before making a purchase.

In addition to the extensive product selection, the store will also include a dedicated events floor with a Q&A arena and a community zone. SportsShoes.com plans to host professional athlete experiences, podcasts, and brand activations that will bring the local running community together. A Running Lab will be available to provide performance technology and gait analysis, supporting runners of all levels in optimizing their performance.

House of SportsShoes will be especially active before, during, and after the TCS London Marathon on 26 April, offering a series of events that celebrate running culture and engage the local community.
