Pearl Forecourts recently launched its newest site, the Pearl Forecourts Shell Service Station and Spar store. Located at Whetley Hill in Bradford, this £4 million project sits on a former restaurant site. It serves as a vital hub for local residents and passing drivers alike. The facility provides high-quality fuels and a modern retail experience. Specifically, the forecourt features eight pumps for passenger cars. These include Shell’s premium V-Power fuels. Additionally, the site offers dedicated AdBlue pumps and two high-speed pumps for HGVs.
The Pearl Forecourts Shell Service Station operates 24 hours a day. Consequently, it meets the needs of a very busy urban area. Beyond fuel, the site offers air, water, and vacuum facilities. It also features three state-of-the-art jet washes. For extra convenience, customers can use dedicated parking for 17 vehicles. Furthermore, an ATM will arrive at the site by mid-February 2026. This focus on service ensures the forecourt acts as a complete destination for the Bradford community.
Inside, the spacious Spar store offers a bright shopping environment. James Hall & Co. Ltd services the shop with a wide range of goods. Shoppers can find fresh food, grocery essentials, and many chilled drinks. Moreover, the store includes a unique “shop-in-shop” called Spice World. This section provides bulk staples like halal meat and large bags of flour. Customers can also enjoy fresh hot coffee, Karak Chai, and milkshakes. As a result, the store handles both quick snacks and full household shops.
Pearl Forecourts director Hanif Mohmed expressed great pride in his team. He chose the Whetley Hill location for its mix of housing and industry. So far, the public response has been very positive since the January opening. Looking ahead, the company will open another Pearl Forecourts Shell Service Station in Bury this April. This next site will even feature electric vehicle charging points. It will also include a Subway concession to offer more food choices.
Finally, the partnership with James Hall & Co. Ltd helped bring this site to life. Peter Dodding from James Hall noted that the product range supports the local community perfectly. Because of this success, the team now focuses on their next project in Bury. This expansion shows the commitment of Pearl Forecourts to modern, high-quality builds. They aim to replace tired old stores with industry-leading facilities throughout 2026.
